Debbie Jane Skelf

Debra (Debbie) Jane Hodge Skelf, aged 70, of Hixson, Tennessee passed away on Friday, August 8, 2025 in a local hospital. She was born on July 15, 1955 in Chattanooga, TN to Wiley B. Hodge and Eddie Mae Hodge.

She was employed as a Sorter with the United States Postal Service.

Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Wiley B Hodge; and mother, Eddie Mae Seagroves.

Those Debbie leaves behind to cherish her precious memories include her loving and devoted husband, Larry Skelf; sons, Kenneth Cahoon, Jr. (KC) and Kristopher Cahoon; grandsons, Gage Hodge, Kane Cahoon, Patrick Cahoon and Kaven Cahoon; granddaughters, Bayleigh Cahoon and Khloe Cahoon; great granddaughter, Wrenley Mae Hodge; nieces, nephews, many cousins, other relatives and dear friends.

Debbie was drop dead gorgeous inside and out. She was mischievous at times and loving always. Debbie was fiercely protective and loyally devoted to her creator, Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Her last wishes were that you accept Jesus Christ as your God and Savior, and meet her in heaven when your time on earth is over. May God richly bless you as he awaits your entering into eternity.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 4:30 pm at Bethel Baptist Church, 632 Lullwater Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37405, with Pastor Daryl Coffman officiating along with Brother Travis Shipley.
