Emily Ann Weyers

She is preceded in death by her parents, the late Raymond Brandon and Elizabeth (Arlidge) Brandon; her brother, Tommy Brandon; husband Michael Weyers; and brother-in-law, Dennis Weyers.

She is survived by her daughter, Heather Weyers; stepbrother in-law, Rick (Barbara) Shipner; stepsister in-law, Nancy Thompson; sister-in-law Suzanne Weyers; her best friend, Sheila Reccord; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Emily has lived in Chattanooga her entire life, worked for Publix Super Market for the past 12 years, and before that, she worked at Food Lion for several years. She loved to travel to Gatlinburg for a quick getaway, and she loved going to the beach just to listen to the waves.

In the words of her daughter, “She was an incredible mother and friend to grow up with!”

Emily was a friend to everyone she encountered; she was an exceptional person who would help anyone in their time of need.
