

She was born February 9, 1934 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Max & Clara Weber.
Mrs. Recchia was a college graduate of Washington Missionary College.
She was formerly a Registered Nurse with Washington Sanitarium and later retired from Valley Psychiatric Hospital after many years of service.
She was a longtime member of Ooltewah Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Her husband, Roland Recchia; son Gregory Recchia; and sisters, Ruth Wilkowski and Miriam Baaso preceded her in death.
Survivors include her three children, Dan (Renée) Recchia of Ooltewah. Tennessee; Jim (Becky) Recchia of Clearwater, Florida; RuthAnn (Dwight) Gilmore of McDonald, Tennessee; daughter-in-law, Cindy Recchia of Hallandale Beach, Florida; brother, Alfred Weber of Michigan; seven grandchildren, Jaclyn (Justin) Galbraith of Ooltewah, Philip (Molly) Recchia of Ooltewah, Marc Recchia of Chattanooga, Nathan (Tera) Recchia of Ooltewah, Nevin Recchia of Ooltewah, Mitchell Gilmore of Chattanooga, and Danielle (Avery) Hamilton of Cleveland; and three great grandchildren, Olivia Galbraith of Ooltewah, and Cameron and Amelia Hamilton of Cleveland.
The family will receive friends Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
A memorial service will be held Friday, March 17, 2017 at 12:30 p.m. in the East Brainerd Chapel with Pastor LeClare Litchfield officiating.
Interment will be at Chattanooga National Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as both active and honorary pallbearers.
