She was preceded in death by her son, Jimmie Hicks; grandmother, Elizabeth Hicks; grandchildren, Doniya De’Shay Mayweather and Chardae’ Walker.
Those Joyce leaves behind to cherish her precious memories are husband, Jimmie Harris; mother, Joyce Hicks; father, Melvin Dupree; daughters, LaToya Hicks, LaQuanda (Frederick) Franklin, Tonyada Mayweather, Tamara Daniels and Nefeteria (Giorgio) Daniels; sons, Micheal Daniels, DeMike Daniels; stepson, Jimmie Harris, Jr.; first cousin, Mirrar ‘Gail’ Henderson; best friend, Leatri (Stanley) Cox; 24 grandchildren; a host of cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
Visitation will be on Saturday, July 20, 2019 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in the Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel. Funeral Services will immediately follow at 1:00 pm.
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
