Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.”
— Psalm 37:4–5 (KJV)
Kaye Jones, age 73, went Home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, February 9, 2026.
Kaye trusted Christ as her personal Savior at the age of 16 while attending a Bible Memorization Association camp in Toccoa Falls, Georgia. From that moment forward, her life was marked by a sincere love for the Lord and a steadfast commitment to His service.
While studying at Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Kaye met Terry Jones. She graduated with a degree in Theology, and in 1976 she and Terry were united in marriage. In March of 1981, the Lord opened the door for them to serve with Baptist International Missions, Inc. (BIMI).
In 1984, Terry and Kaye arrived on the mission field in Costa Rica, where they faithfully served for 22 years in church-planting ministry. Through her quiet strength, gracious spirit, and unwavering support of her husband, Kaye played an instrumental role in the salvation of many souls and the strengthening of countless believers.
Following their years in Costa Rica, God directed Terry into a new ministry at the World Missions Center of BIMI, where he served as Mexico and Central America Field Director. Kaye continued to be a faithful helpmeet, supporting the work of missions with dedication, prayer, and love for God’s people along with 18 years of service for the Chattanooga Rescue Mission. She was able to retire as the Director of Women’s Ministries.
