Lisa has always been one of the most kind, thoughtful and most gracious people I have ever known. Me and my mom Anita(Elisabeth's Godmother) have had the gift of being a part of their lives since Elisabeth was just 7 years old and we are a all a part of a loving family history filled with many memories and blessings that can never be replaced or broken by time nor death. Lisa and Elisabeths mother daughter bond was truly a beautiful and unwavering miracle that was always an inspiration to me to watch grow and unfold throughout the years. Lisa always displayed courage, commitment and integrity with her decisions as a mother to Elisabeth. Lisa will always hold a place in  all of our hearts and the memories we created will live eternally with us until that day we will be reunited with her in glory...

Thank you so much for always letting me come over and treating me like your own, it meant the world to me, thank you for giving me a safe place to come to where I was loved for once, thank you for all the birthday parties you threw for me when no one else would, thank you for feeding me, thank you for taking me out to eat with you and lil it made me feel like I had a family. I love you so much and I miss you so much I always enjoyed doing my make up with you and lil and I’m gonna miss that, I love you monky 💕

I remember walking across the street with you to sonic all the time just to sit there and spend time together while we ate. We would walk all over the place, remember that hole in the wall Mexican restaurant on Dayton Boulevard? Thats where we both first tried tres leches cake and thats my favorite ever since. I love you.

I will be forever grateful to Lisa for her sacrificial love for her daughter Elisabeth. Lisa, knowing her physical limitations arranged with the Big Brother Big Sister so that Elisabeth could have a "Big Sister" to be a friend and take her to various activities. That was 20 years ago. I will always believe  ours was a God ordained  match. I not only gained a life long friend in Elisabeth, but in Lisa as well. I often reflect on what a special mother Lisa was to unselfishly share her daughter with me, but then again, that was at the very heart of who Lisa was, a very kind and giving person.  SHE WILL BE MISSED.

Remember when you took me to get glasses at eyear optical in Brainerd and we walked across the street to Arby's and had lunch while we waited on the bus to come get us?  That was fun. Everything we did together was fun. I miss you.

Do you remember this? I was in head start. You and Scott came to school i think it was some sort of parent day or something I cant remember but im glad you were there.

Remember when we went to lake winnie!? This was one of my favorite times. I know you couldnt get on the rides  except the merry go round, and thats okay im just happy you were there. I loved our matching cups!

Just look at you. I dont know how old you are here but you were beautiful then too. I look a lot like you and im so thankful for that. I love every comment we got stating we looked like sisters. In a sense you were my sister too. You were my everything.

This was you when you were 6. Not a care in the world just letting the sun kiss your skin and enjoying what God gave you, so innocent, so pure.

Remember having to eat finger foods with a fork and a knife? I hate that your gone but now you dont have to do that. You can eat anything you want now and exactly how you want to.

I picked this certain picture for your obituary because this was the day of my wedding that we would have never had if it wasn't for you. You bought pretty much everything for it. The decorations, outfits and all. Im so heavily thankful for what you did for us. I know I couldnt attend to everyone at the time because Khalil was so fussy but I had a wonderful time and im so SO very glad that you lived to see that moment.

Do you remember when I got married to that guy at 18? Man we're you right about him haha! Im so sorry for what he put you through and im so glad you were able to see me get remarried to a wonderful man. Tj loves you too momma he knows you loved him so much. He made your baby girl so happy, your grandson loves you to. I'll make sure he knows about you as he grows.

Another one of my favorite memories with you my sweet mother. 
We would go down the road when we lived in redbank. We didnt have a car so I walked and you rolled. We went grocery shopping at food city, it was summer time so it was soo hot. As we went along, we would run/ roll faster through the sun and every time there was even the smallest shade from telephone pole shadows or anything we would stop and go "ahhh" in a relieving tone as it "cooled us off" that was so fun, we were just talking about that the other day.. I miss you

I remember you'd use your wheelchair and id walk, we'd make a picnic and it was peanutbutter and jelly sandwiches. We walked up to walgreens and got some goldfish crackers, went to Coolidge park and would sit on a blanket under the bridge in the shade, just us, no electronics, no other people, just us two. We put the goldfish on our sandwiches and that was one of my favorite memories with you.

I absolutely cannot believe you are gone. 
I pray that you and granny are dancing in that beautiful sky.
I pray you got your sweet soft voice back and now singing in the angel's choir. 
Heaven is so lucky to have someone like you enter those gates. I miss you so much you'll never know.

Mother
There is so much more to being a mother, other than giving birth. 
   Being a mother takes work, effort and dedication to make sure your child is taken care of and loved. 
   Being a mother takes grace, patience and love itself. 
   Being a mother take selflessness, discipline and drive. 
   Being a mother takes everything you've got. 
And that is EXACTLY what you did. You worked soo hard to give me a wonderful life.
You put in all the effort any good mother could to ensure my health and safety. 
You dedicated your life to ensure I made it through to do the exact same thing for your grandson. 
You were graceful in how you raised me, patient when you taught me how to take my first steps, say my first words and THEN some. 
You were THE most selfless person/ mother anyone could ever meet. You applied for me to have my big sister Anita through BBBS because you knew physically you wouldnt be able to do the things you'd hoped to do with me and THAT is the most selfless thing one could do for someone. That was true love for me and I could never thank you enough not only for that but for the beautiful life and memories you gave me. 
The discipline and drive you had to mold me into the person I am today is something I am so greatful for. 
You literally gave everything you had to ensure my health, protection, childhood and life. 
I absolutely loved and still do love every single thing about you. You were truly my very best friend and my biggest fan. At times it may not of seemed like it but momma, I was your biggest fan too, and I love you more than life itself. I hate to see this day as I thought we had more time. I love you and I pray that God can allow you to know I never took a second for granted. 
Every memory, every smile, every laugh and every hug ill always, ALWAYS keep locked in my heart. I miss you so very much momma, bye for now but never forever. Until I see you again.
