Margaret A. Jensen, born on October 27, 1938, in St. Johns, Newfoundland, passed away on January 10, 2026, at the age of 87. A devoted and generous individual, Margaret was known for her humorous and creative spirit.
Early in life, Margaret pursued a modeling career and later embraced the roles of a military wife and homemaker. Her love for art, reading, and writing poems was well known, as was her affection for her dog, Lassie.
Margaret was a cherished mother to her son, Steve (Lisa) Jensen, and a beloved grandmother to her grandchildren, Matthew (Danielle) Jensen, David Jensen, and Gage Keeble. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren, Judah and Gabriel Jensen. She is also survived by her brother, Paul (Karen) Dunphy, sister, Ann Voss, and several nieces and nephews. Margaret's deep love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren was a defining aspect of her life.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Martin and Bernice Dunphy; her husband, Gene Jensen; her daughter, Lisa Keeble; and her siblings, Patrick, Tom, and David Dunphy, Bernice Steele, and Paulette Sellars.
As Margaret poignantly wrote, "Don't ask what I am thinking, for you will never know. Because my mind is the one place, that only God can go."
Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
