Marge Davis, age 88, of Hixson left this world Sunday, October 14, 2018 to be received into the arms of her Savior. Marge was a registered nurse and retired from Hutcheson Medical Center after 25 years of service. She was a member of St. Alban’s Episcopal Church. She enjoyed hosting the “Monday Girls” bible study and the “Geezers” parties. She also enjoyed entertaining in her home and anyone there was invited to play “the game”.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Davis; daughter, Sandy Nethers; parents, Clarence Albert & Laura Irene Campbell Buyer; and sister, Barbara Powers.
Those left to hold her memory dear are her children, Pat (Dave) Toops, Kathy (Jeff) Preston and Jimmy (Sandy) Davis; siblings, James (Barbara) Buyer, Mary Ellen Harshbarger, Margaret (Allen) Girnus and John (Nan) Conley; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of friends; special friend, Linda Long who, with others, made it possible for Marge to have her last wish by staying in her home.
The family would like to thank all of those who took care of Mom through her journey.
A memorial service will be 1PM, Saturday, October 20, 2018 at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church 7514 Hixson Pike, Hixson, TN 37343 with Father Robert Hartmans officiating.
