Mickey L. Wilson, 77, a lifelong resident of Chattanooga, TN, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2013. He had worked for Olin Conductors for 15 years and after retirement he worked as a self employed carpenter. A member of Ridgedale Baptist Church, he was a graduate of Central High School Class of 1955 and was an avid sportsman, running track, playing football and being a golden glove boxer. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Doris Prichard Wilson; son, Mark (Lori) Wilson, Ringgold, GA and Tammy (Keith) Dockery, Flintstone, GA; six grandchildren, Travis Wilson, Meghan (Chris) Buckner, Mariah (Noah) Wilson, Mandy (Joe) Fortson, Aaron (Evelyn) Dockery and Levi (Ryan) Dockery; four great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to the Ridgedale Baptist Church, 1831 Hickory Valley Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Doug Plumlee officiating. Interment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
