Raymond worked as a truck driver for Volstate Chemical (AICC). He was an avid fan of the Tennessee Vols and loved watching Nascar, especially #3, Dale Earnhardt.
Raymond was preceded in death by his father Martin W. Collins; mother Frances Mae Collins; daughter Kimberly Lisa Collis; nephew Mike Wehunt; niece Kay Collins; granddaughter Whitney Strickland.
Raymond is survived by his brothers Marin W. Collins and Danny E. Collins; sister Karne (James) Collins Cherry; sons Dewayne, Timothy, Allen, Robbie Strickland and youngest of the litter James (JJ) Harvey.
He raised five boys as his own and they tell him that he is a good man and dad, teaching them right from wrong, sports and learn to fight.
