Ruth Jones Fletcher, 93, of Chattanooga, went home to be the Lord on Monday, June 28, 2021 at her home. She was the daughter of the late James and Evelyn Lee Jones. She was of the Baptist Faith and retired after many years of service with AT&T. Ruth enjoyed shopping for cloths and loved her family and friends dearly.
She was also preceded in death by her first husband, David Walker.
Ruth is survived by her husband, Alan Fletcher, sons, Robert J. (Beth) Walker, David J. Walker both of Chattanooga, sister, Ruby Cooper, grandchildren, Megan, Chelsey, and Robbie, great-grandchild, Jace, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday, July 2, 2021 in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Wayland Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, West. Family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, Thursday at the funeral home.
