Sharon Annette Davis

Sharon Annette Davis, 65, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, went peacefully into the arms of Jesus on May 3, 2020. She was of the Baptist faith. Her greatest joys in life were her grandson, her family and her animals.

She was preceded in death by her father, Wilburn ‘Bud’ Marler and step father, James Bidwell.

Sharon is survived by her daughter, Heather (Sean) Rood of Ooltewah, TN; mother Elizabeth Bidwell of Soddy Daisy, TN; sisters Kathy (Kirk) Arwood, Pam Vandergriff, Robin Vandergriff all of Chattanooga, TN, and Donna (Greg) Dabov of Memphis TN; brother, Tom (Kim) Marler of Loganville, GA; step siblings Lenore Pierce Smith and Eddie Pierce; grandson, James Angel; her aunt, Armeda Brown; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers please donate to the American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association in her honor.

Due to Covid 19 pandemic, a memorial service will be announced at a later date.

The family would like to extend their warmest gratitude to all her doctors and nurses who have been involved in her care. A special Thank You to the MICU staff at CHI Memorial Hospital who cared for her in her final days; you made us feel like she was part of your family. Also thank you to all those who have given spiritual and emotional support to her and her family.
