He attended the Lutheran School and graduated from Central High School in 1940; was a lifelong member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church; retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 39 years of service; was a veteran of the U.S. Army and Airforce Reserves; member of the American Legion and the VFW.
He was preceded in death by his parents Frederick Lehman and Lena Alma Melhorn Lehman; sisters: Georgia Mae Beyer, Anna Marie Larkin; brothers: Arthur B McGuffey Jr., Henry A. McGuffey and James R. McGuffey.
He is survived by his sister Erma Miller and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday November 12, 2011 in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
