Albert H. Schempp, amazing and faithful husband of Marie, (nee Landis) for 66 years, caring and loving father of five daughters: Jeanne Stinziano (Robert), Janet Heneghan (Douglas), Nancy Schempp, Dianne Wilson (Ralph) and Marie Nardi. Loving and proud grandfather to eight along with one great-granddaughter. Albert lifted off early in the morning of December 1, 2021, at the age of 89. Albert had a quality life up until his last day! He was born on November 5, 1932. His mother Mary died when he was a young boy. Mary’s sister Marguerite and her husband, Herbert Wunderlich raised Al and his brother Jim as their own. Al attended Christ the King grade school and Cathedral Latin High School. He earned his engineering degree from Fenn College (Cleveland State). It was during this time that he met the love of his life, Marie. They married in 1955 and started their family right away with their first daughter born in 1956, and ten years later, their fifth. Albert had a successful career at Glastic Corporation where he rose to become President and CEO until his retirement in the early 90’s. He enjoyed many hobbies and interests including photography, wine collecting, cooking, bird watching, genealogy and golf. Albert raised his family with faith at its very core. Every morning you’d find Al and Marie reading the Word of God. He was a proud member of St. Anselm Church and Al and Marie are members of Families in Christ Jesus. He encouraged his family and friends to pursue the most important relationship, being a friend of God. From death to everlasting life, Albert now lives in the house of the Lord. “Well done my good and faithful servant!” Private viewing and burial Monday December 6th at Lake View Cemetery.
