Albert Totarella passed away on August 19, 2023 at the age of 86. He was surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of 65 years to his high school sweetheart Silvia (deceased); loving son of Joseph and Anna (Sajovec) Totarella (deceased); loving brother to Joe, Kenny, Andrie, Mary, Rita, Betty, and Alberta (all deceased); loving father of Albert (deceased)(JoAnn), Peter (Bernie), Laura Ann (Roy); the most wonderful Papa of seven, Amanda (Joe), Nicholas, Michael, Julia (Caleb), Nick, Drake, and Amanda; and great Papa of five, Liana, Nicolina, Jacob, Elaina, and Jonah. Albert had a heart of gold. No matter what, he was always there for the people he loved. He adored his wife and was a fantastic father. Albert enjoyed playing, watching, and coaching sports. His entertainment was going to the casino with his wife and playing the slots while enjoying a drink. Albert loved to show off his burgundy Cadillac. Along with playing Santa each Christmas Eve, he loved his grandchildren and watching them grow. Sitting outside in the sunshine while talking with family and listening to polka music was his favorite pastime. His flower beds were always impressive. Albert was one of a kind and will continue to be a role model in our lives as we celebrate his life.
Family and friends may attend a calling hour at Holy Redeemer Church, 15712 Kipling Ave., Cleveland on Saturday, August 26, 2023 from 9:00 – 10:00 am, with a Mass to follow at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation in Laura Force’s name may be made to Albert’s family during the church service.
