Alona M. Cone Warner

Alona led a life filled with love and dedication. She was an avid reader, enjoyed flower gardening, and had a deep affection for her cats. Above all, she cherished her family. Alona dedicated 30 years of her life to being an elementary school teacher, positively impacting the lives of many young students. She also generously volunteered at UH Geauga Medical Center, contributing to her community in meaningful ways. Alona will be remembered for her wonderful relationships with people and her unwavering love for her family and community.

She is survived by her brothers-in-law Doran (Pat) Cone of Chardon and Carlynn (Velma) Cone of Ashtabula; nieces Lashawna (Matt) Mackura of Millford and Melissa (James) LaCava of Kingsville; nephews Robert Cone of Ashtabula and Tim Errington, Jr. of Lyndhurst; and six great nieces and nephews. Alona is preceded in death by her husbands Clifford Cone, Jr. and Frank Warner, Jr.; and her daughter Candice Cone.

Graveside Service will be held at 12:00 PM, Thursday, January 22, 2026 at Union Cemetery, 2600 Stiles Ave., Rock Creek, OH 44084. (Please meet at the cemetery)

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Alona's name may be made to a charity of your choice.
