Funeral Mass for Barbara Ann Painter, 70, of Willoughby Hills, will be 11 a.m. Monday, July 9, 2012, at St. Noel Catholic Church, 35200 Chardon Rd., Willoughby Hills. Mrs. Painter passed away July 4, 2012. Born Dec. 6, 1941, in Akron, she had lived in Chester Township before moving to Willoughby Hills 17 years ago. Mrs. Painter had worked at Ametco Co. since 1959 as an office manager. Barbara was an a active member of St. Noel Catholic Church, Beta Sigma Phi, Willoughby Hills VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and a Cleveland Convention Center volunteer for many years. She was also an avid football fan.
Survivors are her husband, Richard L.; daughter from South Korea, Ye Seul Lee; brother, Ralph (Andrea) Chojnicki; nephew, Craig Chojnicki; niece, Carisa Chojnicki; and many godchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Diana Lee; and parents, Eugene and Angeline (Murawski) Chojnicki. Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home, 12524 Chillicothe Road, Chester Township. Private interment will take place at a later time. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Noel Catholic Church (see address above).
