Bobbie Jean O'Connell

Bobbie J. O’Connell, 76, passed away peacefully at home on September 14, 2024 in the company of her daughter, son-in-law, and a compassionate nurse from Western Reserve Hospice. Daughter of the late Joseph M. Gornick and Beverly J Gornick (Crist). Dear mother to Debra J. Bettinger (Jon). Gamma to Jonathan and Jonah Bettinger and mommy doggie to Daisy. Sister to JoAnn Davis (Harry, deceased). Special aunt to Patty Horvath, Tami Bosetin, Cindy Bosetin, Kelly Velotta-Kachline (Craig). Great aunt to Anthony Velotta, Dylan Kachline, Nick Horvath and Ryan Kerry. Raised in a military household, Bobbie called many places home during childhood, eventually settling in northeast Ohio and graduating from Euclid High School. Bobbie was a strong independent and compassionate woman, as well as a successful entrepreneur providing hearing services to the greater Cleveland area for over 40 years. Celebration of life at Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home in Chesterland on Wednesday September 25, 2024 from 4:30 to 7pm followed by a short service.
