To the family of Mr. Summers,he was one of the best teachers I had in Philippi,I'll never forget him,I also liked the old T-Bird he had,we talked a few times when we ran into each other at the store or in town and always wondered where he went when he left here,he was one of the best,my thoughts and prayers to you all.

To the family of Robert Summers I was one of his students at Philippi Jr. High. I remember him as one of good teachers.  I would also work in his small office durning the morning before class and durning study hall.  I remember the classroom he had in the back that went downhill and he had to put bricks under one side to make the desk level.  He will be missed.  Sorry for your loss. To George and family  "Our Thoughts Are With You All"  Robert and his Mother Lou, were our former neighbors on Maple Street here in Philippi.  

My sister Sue and I had lost our Mother  Violet R. Mouser on Oct 21st. she was 88  but regardless of ages  We all will keep their memories near and dear to our hearts.  . .Dad and Robert were teachers over the years at Philippi High School.    

Dad had passed away in 1983 he was only 59
