Born July 25, 1935, in Cleveland, Mr. Christie worked for many years at Cleveland Crane and retired from Hoist Equipment.
Survivors are his wife, Dee; children, Patrick (Dawn), Michael (Amy), Kevin (Maureen), Kelley (John) and Tim (Patty); his cherished grandchildren, Carley, Nick, Ally, Kaitlin, Ryan, Tyler, Reagan, Aidan, Donovan, K.C., Sally, Johnny, Michael and Morgan; great-grandson, Connor; and sister, Anilee Christie.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home, 12524 Chillicothe Road, Chester Township, where the funeral services will follow at 7 p.m.
Private family interment will take place at a later time.
