Dorothy Irene Baumann, age 80, passed away January 1, 2021 in Huntsburg Twp. Born October 29, 1940 in Cleveland, she had been a resident of both Florida and Ohio. Dorothy was a homemaker and an exceptionally skilled wood carver. She attending the Yankee Peddler Festival in Canal Fulton every year, and achieved 1st Place and Honorable Mention for two of her pieces at the Wood Carving World Competition in Maryland. Dorothy enjoyed growing a tropical garden around her home in Florida as well as other landscaping, and loved attending flea markets and eating out with her late husband Paul. She always knew thought that her tremendous Christian faith was a very significant part of her life. Dorothy is survived by her sons Paul L. (Damaris) and Jeff (Lisa); grandchildren Sarah and Nicholas Baumann; sister-in-law Myrna Olszens; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Paul R.; brothers Henry and Willie Olszens; and sister Rosemary (Leonard) Kluk.
