

Born Oct. 7, 1934, in Cleveland, he had lived in Willowick before moving to Chester Township 25 years ago.
Mike served in the United States Navy from 1952 to 1956. He was a loyal member for 54 years of IBEW Local 38, and foreman for Martien Electric Company for many years.
He volunteered at Geauga West Library, Western Reserve Historical Society, and was a member of the Irish-American Club East Side Inc.
Survivors are his wife of 54 years, Amy Lou (nee Goolsby); children, Frances (Tony) Stephenson, Michael (Irena), Timothy (Peggy), Robert (Dana), and John (Jenny); grandsons, Patrick, Bryan, Shane, Myles; stepgrandson, Alex; sister, Mary Ellen Czelusniak; nieces; and a nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Martin and Katherine C. (nee McDonnell); brother, James Harold; and grandson, Riley B.
Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home, 12524 Chillicothe Road, Chester Township.
Services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 9, 2012, at the Church of Saint Anselm, 12969 Chillicothe Road, Chester Township. The Rev. Thomas Sweany will officiate. Burial will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township.
