Esther M. Van Horne

Esther M. Van Horne, age 98, passed away peacefully December 19, 2021. Born April 11, 1923 in Kittanning, PA, she was most recently a resident of Andover. Esther retired after working many years at the K-Mart store in Highland Hts. She was preceded in death by her husband Ned. She is survived by her daughters Rose Marie Svedek and Judy (Sam) Tirabassi; son Will; grandchildren Kim, Greg, Ron, Jeff, Brittany, Nelson, and Kyle; five great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; siblings Paul (Dee) Bowser, Larry (Jenny) Bowser, and Myrna (Bill) Whitlinger; sister-in-law Beverly Bowser; and brother-in-law Frank Yacucci. Esther is preceded in death by her siblings Harold Bowser, Donald (Lucia) Bowser, Shirley (Jim) Bowser, and Phyllis Cook; and parents Clair and Twila (nee Hetrick) Bowser. Family and friends may call at Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home, 12524 Chillicothe Rd., Chesterland on Tuesday December 28, 2021, 2–4 pm, where services will follow at 4:00 pm. Private Interment at a later date in Rural Valley Cemetery, Rural Valley, PA.
