So sorry to hear of George's passing. He was truly one of the "good guys."  Small world... Hillcrest is aroud the corner from us. Two of our five grandchildren were born there. We live about three blocks from John  Carroll
University .

Dear Elizabeth,  Jim and I have such wonderful memories of times spent with you and George. George and I worked together for years in our school district. You and Jim also worked together on the board. Couple that with church activities, bus trips along with social events and we have a lifetime of great memories with our good friends the Summers. Elizabeth & Troy, so sorry to hear of the passing of George.We talked about our favorite team the "STEELERS" and he always came up with a good joke about the Browns and how bad they played. he was a funny guy who made me laugh and was a great neighbor to Richard and Carlene. I still miss seeing him out on the porch when I drive past your old house on the hill. He is at peace now and resting in the loving arms of Jesus waiting to meet you again. Your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

George was a friend of so many , he will be remembered at the Irondale United Methodist church for all the hard work he did and the love and kind words he had for everyone       Jean and Dale Tice

Elizaeth and TRoy!  What can I say.  George is the only "brothe" I ever had.  You were a major part of our family.  We have some great memories between these couple hills in Hammondsville and Irondale.   We all know the life that George lived.  He was a great mentor, friend and fellow being to be with.  God Bless you and the family.,

George was my English teacher and Guidance Counselor at Stanton Local High School for the class of 1967.  He was an excellent teacher and always enjoyed life to the fullest. May God be with you Elizabeth and family at this time.     Bill Carlisle  (Londonderry, New Hampshire)

My condolences to your family.  I knew George when I worked with him for several years announcing and scoring track meets at Stanton Local High School until 1972.  These were fond memories.  George was a great guy and fun to work with.

     Elizabeth, Troy and family... My most sincere condolences on the passing of George.  He was a true friend, always thoughtful and considerate.  I will so miss and cherish the memories of the many conversations that we had together in his later years. 
     George will be deeply missed by his "Lodge Brothers", in our Masonic "Family" at Jenkins Lodge, in Irondale and at the many other Lodges that he visited over the years.    
     One of the Masonic Lectures teaches us "that death is but the messenger, sent by the "Grand Master of the Universe", to lead us from this imperfect, into that all-perfect, glorious and celestial Lodge above, where He presides."
     May the Good Lord bless you and keep you always.

I was shocked to hear of George's passing
I heard about it when I went to help serve ruritan dinner last night.He was a good neighbor for many years. I went one way and he went another way: so our paths didn't cross anymore.Take Care and God Bless all of you. Love & prayers, Carlene
