Gerald was a Union Painter, an avid golfer, singer, and actor, and always enjoyed making everyone laugh. Beloved husband of 63 years of Elizabeth (nee Papotta); loving father of Donna M. Kunsman (Dan), Bradley (Terri), Teresa M. Newcomer (Charley), and Michael; devoted grandfather of Nicole M. Shirey (Nick), Christopher A. Nista, Daniel J. Hoffman, and Andrew M. Dolan (Sheena), and great-grandfather of Lincoln J. and Emilia M. Shirey; dear brother of Andrew (Florence), Ann Hegarty (Donal, deceased), and the late Marie Dick (Alex) and Daniel (Janet); cherished son of the late Andrew and Agnes (nee Taggert) Dolan; and dear uncle of many.
