Hilda J. Burris (DeGreen) born August 12, 1937 in Cleveland Ohio, passed away peacefully at her childhood home in Chesterland Ohio on June 23, 2024. She was 86. The day Jesus called Hilda home is when she was finally reunited with her husband of fifty years Charles A. Burris.
Hilda was the devoted mother to Charles R. (Valerie S.) Burris, Brenda L (Paul). Hartman, Bonnie D (Don). Archiable, Sanford A. (Patty) Burris, and Kevin A. (Molly) Burris, loving grandmother to Duncan A. Burris, Allister C. Burris, Alyssa K. Warren (Burris), Andrew J. Burris, Margaret W. Burris, Pierce A. Burris, Dr. David Y. Hartman, Dr. Daniel Y. Hartman, Michael M. Archiable, Gabrielle E. Burris, Madison I. Burris, Bonnie Hartman, Charles (Charlie) Burris, Benjamin P. Hall, and Jordan D. Hall, and great-granddaughter Kiera Hall. Hilda was retired from C Burris Construction Inc after 20 years, and formerly employed at Althans Insurance. Hilda was preceded in death by her parents Marvin E. and Doreen (Margaret) DeGreen (Wilson), her brothers Marvin E. DeGreen, and Gary DeGreen.
