Born in Cleveland, James was a long-time resident of Chagrin Falls, OH and spent the majority of his career as corporate recruiter, as well as previously a recruiter for the United States Navy. Before retiring, he became the President of his own small company providing consultation services and ecological solutions for groundwater cleanup applications.
James was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Chagrin Falls. He was an avid fisherman, and also enjoyed Hungarian-language study, car and engine building, computer website design, and gunsmithing.
James is survived by his wife of 50 years Jan, his son Robert, his sisters Cyndi, Betty, and Karen (Dan), and his brothers Gary (Bobbie) and Rick (Lena). He was preceded in death by his father James, his mother Elizabeth, and his brother Steven.
