Accidentally I came across the death notice for Jim.  Please know that I will be remembering him and all of you in my prayers.   May our gracious God bless, support and bless all of you at this time of loss.

To the entire Moorman family,
I was so saddened when I heard about Jimmy's passing. He was such a kind and quiet guy.  I loved the Moorman family and have such fond memories of growing up in Mingo and being at their house on West Blvd almost everyday. We all played together and the older kids always looked out for us. Your parents were hard workers and raised a wonderful family. 
It's never easy to lose a loved one , but cherish all the memories you have and keep them close to your heart. Please accept my deepest and heartfelt sympathy at this time and may our Lord give you peace and comfort you with His love. Rest In Peace Jimmy

I worked with Jim for 5 years or so in the laboratory of Synthetic Products Company in Cleveland, and played softball with him for longer.  Did I say Jim? He was forever "Mingo", from the moment we learned he was from Mingo Junction, Ohio. 

And he was a perfect fit with the rowdy crew at our company. We played the bookie slips, drank cases of Budweiser and forgave him (almost) his love of the Pittsburgh Steelers. 

He will live on in our hearts and memories. What a guy.

My sympathy to the Moorman family for the loss of your brother.  I remember Jimmy growing up across the street from us.   He was always a nice guy.  You all came from a good family with great parents.   I still remember seeing the boys getting into your dad's truck heading out to work each morning.  I think of each of your fondly. 

So sorry to the hear the news of Jimmy's passing.  I'll never forget our childhood days, school, baseball, and stickball on West Boulevard.
