Dear Jeff and family members:
Jan and I started to teach together in 1991.  We had our office at St. Clair and our classes were taught with the Head Start teachers.  We eventually moved to Hobart and then when the preschool was moved to Cedarbrook.  I loved working with Jan.  She was so kind and loved teaching.   We shared common interest-cats!  I am so glad she travelled a little bit after her retirement.  I loved having her come in to sub which allowed us to catch up.  I will miss her dearly.  She was an amazing colleague and a much better friend.

I had the privilege of not only working with Jan but of her teaching my older daughter at Red Raider Preschool. She was an amazing woman and I will always treasure the memories I have of her. Sending lots of love and prayers to her family. 

 I had the wonderful privilege of working with Jan at Sylvan learning Center in Mentor. I was able to tutor right across from her for two years which was not enough time to get to know her completely. I really enjoyed our brief talks and our one time we all went out to lunch together precovid. She will be greatly missed by myself, many others, and her fur baby too. 
A wonderful, kind, loving teacher indeed who loved to work with elementary students and in Special Ed too. Overall, enjoyed teaching our future generations. Rest In Peace, Jan and God Bless you and your family. 

To Jan's family, 

I had the privilege of getting to know  Jan at Red Raider Preschool. Jan was a kind and wonderful person. When I would see Jan after she retired she always asked about my kids, reminiscing on my daughter's long hair when she was younger, she knew how to make a person smile and know they are thought about even when they aren't around.   She touched many hearts and is going to be greatly missed but not forgotten.
