Judy M. Csanyi (Wentz) passed away on May 27, 2025, at her home in Chesterland, Ohio. She was born at home in Cherry Valley, Ohio as the youngest of four siblings in 1945. She attended Pymatuning Valley High School where she was a National Honor Society member, in chorus and on the cheerleading squad. She was married to Roger Warner of Andover, and they moved to Cleveland after they married then they had Kelly.
She met her future mother-in-law, Alice Csanyi, when they were accounting administrative assistants at Dean/Hillside Dairy. Alice’s son was just returning from serving in Vietnam and Judy was newly single. Alice thought it would be wonderful for her work friend and her son, Roger, to date. They did and married a year later in 1976. They had two sons, Steven and Adam.
Judy decided to change careers and became an EMT. She volunteered for Chester Rescue and worked for Physician’s Ambulance. Due to the physicality of the job, she shifted to human resources at Physicians and then moved to Phillips Medical. She loved her work in human resources and subsequently environmental health and safety.
Upon retirement, Judy enjoyed taking care of her grandchild, Fiona and spending time with family and friends. Judy was a member of Valley Lutheran Church. She enjoyed Masterpiece Mystery, reading, her porch swing and spending time with her children and their families.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Clay and Sylvia (Eiloo) Wentz, her sister Jean (Wentz) Wheeler, her second husband, Roger Csanyi, and granddaughter Everleigh Csanyi.
She is survived by her children, Kelly Ernst Warner (Ted), Steven Csanyi, Adam Csanyi (Tara), her first husband, Roger Warner, her sister Joyce (Wentz) Marcy, brother Harold Wentz and beloved granddaughter, Fiona Csanyi.
