She will be dearly missed by her family and friends, especially her dearest, best friend of 75 years, Orlanda DeFiore. She will also be dearly missed by her brother in-laws and sister in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews and many many friends.
Margie was born in Cleveland, Ohio on February 24, 1943. She met our father 60+ years ago and they married on October 12, 1963. She was a loving and dedicated mother first and foremost but nothing brought her more joy than her 15 grandchildren. She carried a special bond with each and every one of us. She loved to cook and bake with exquisite presentation. She loved to throw parties and she made sure every holiday was filled with food, fun, laughter & the utmost perfect decor to align with the occasion. She made our house into the most cozy home and everything she cooked and baked was perfection. Her love of singing and dancing was contagious. We were blessed to have the most loving caring kind generous mother who touched many lives with her presence. To know her was to love her. Our family asks that our Mother be remembered for the joy she brought to others lives and not the sadness of her passing. Mom - you put up a strong fight — you did your best for us, now the time has come for you to rest. So go in peace you’ve earned your sleep, your love in our hearts we’ll eternally keep. We will love you forever and a day. RIP Mom. A Funeral Mass celebrating her life will be held on Friday, July 21, 2023 at 10:00 am at St. Anselm Church in Chesterland, Ohio. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.gattozziandson.com for the Bican family.
