

Marianne Rose Heredos, born on November 14, 1931, in Cleveland, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2026, in Aurora at the age of 94. Marianne was a beloved and faithful individual who touched the lives of many throughout her long and fulfilling life.
Marianne spent the last two years of her life as a resident of Aurora, having previously lived in Shelby, NC, and Chesterland. She enjoyed a variety of activities, including playing golf, cards—particularly Pinochle—shooting pool, gardening, shopping, flea market shopping, and antiquing. Marianne was also fond of polka dancing with her late husband, Francis, and was an avid football fan. She was a devoted homemaker and also served as a long-time administrator in the office of Dr. Harry Killian in Mentor.
Marianne is survived by her children James (Patricia) Heredos, Kathy Heredos, Suzanne (Theodore) Poucher, Mary Lakin, Laura (Todd) McLaughlin, and Eric Heredos; grandchildren Rosemary, Sam, Jonathan, Daniel, T.J., Jackie, Jacob, Nate, Zak, Elizabeth, Steven, Danny, Mitch, Max, and Jack; and great-grandchildren Evelyn, Miles, and Wesley. Marianne is also survived by her brother, David (Francine) Zak, and dear friends Emma Jo Anthony and Gayle Niskala. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Heredos, and son-in-law, Mike Lakin.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Marianne will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, February 6, 2026, at St. Anselm Catholic Church, 12969 Chillicothe Rd., Chesterland. Interment at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon.
