Patricia Stevenson

Patricia Stevenson (nee Battstone), age 66, died February 27, 2012 at Lancaster General Hospital in Lancaster, Pa. Born January 20, 1946 in Cleveland, she was a resident of Bedford Hts. since 1974. Patricia was a member of Holy Trinity Church in Bedford Hts. and Valley View Village Church in Valley View. She prepared communion and was very active in both church's hospitality teams, preparing and serving food for many church events. Patricia was a very giving and caring person, always enjoying making others feel good. She was very dedicated to her family, and as a homemaker kept a standing invitation with her family to gather at her home on Sundays for a meal.

Survivors include husband of 47 years, John; sons, David and Darren (Denise); daughters, Wendy (Kevin) Miller and Shannon (Mike) Doyle; grandchildren, Emily, Caleb, David, Grace, and Elizabeth Stevenson, Nicholas and Michelle Stevenson, Justine and Eleni Miller, Michael Patterson, and John Doyle; sister, Betty (Dragi) Talevski; and dearest and closest friends, Dan and Emily Fagan, and their children Ryan and Patricia's Godchild Kara Fagan.

Visitation Friday, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at St. John Funeral Home, 923 Broadway Ave., Bedford. Funeral service 10 a.m. Saturday, March 3, 2012 (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH), at Valley View Village Church, 11401 Tinkers Creek Rd., Valley View, OH 44125, Pastor Shawn Vitu officiating. Private inurnment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Patricia's name may be made to Valley View Village Church (address above).
