Richard J. "Dick" Swan, 78,a resident of Chester Township for 53 years, passed away May 10, 2014, at University Hospital of Cleveland. He was born November 17, 1935, in Cleveland. Mr. Swan was a founding member of St. Anselm Church. Dick retired from the Illuminating Company after 42 years. Survivors are his wife, Nancy (nee Sopko); children, Rick J.(Eva), Sue (Rick) Heiss, Karen (Paul) Rundt, Michael (Adrianne), and Michelle (Dan) Morrocco; grandchildren, Nicole, Marissa, Jackie, Andrew and Amy Swan, Ryan and Bradley Heiss, Maria (Curt) Rowland, David Rundt and Richie, Joey and Johnny Morrocco; great-granddaughter, Tayler Rowland; and siblings, Daniel and Kathryn Swan He was preceded in death by his son, Mark; and siblings Irene Feehely and William and Patrick Swan. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home, 12524 Chillicothe Rd. Chester Township. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, May 16, 2014, at Church of St. Anselm, 12969 Chillicothe Rd., Chester Township. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
