

Born Feb. 17, 1933, in Cleveland, she had lived in Russell Township for the past 43 years. Mrs. Peters was a member of St. Anselm Church and active in the Young of Heart, Womens Guild and the shawl ministry. She was also active with the Geauga Department of Aging, Chester Senior Center and the EOUV club. Survivors are her children, Michael (Peggy), Mary Ann (Tim) Healy and Pegy (Doug) McSwain; grandchildren, Kelly Major, Tim (Stacey) Healy, Sr. Sandra Maria Peters, Lisa (Justin) Hostutler and Caitlin and Alyssa McSwain; great-grandchildren, Darcie (Chris) Newell, and Makenzie and Kaysie Healy; brother, William (Elsie) Fleckenstein; and sister, Regina (Frank) Gerber. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; and parents, William and Regina (Eppich) Fleckenstein. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home, 12524 Chillicothe Road, Chester Township. Funeral Mass will be 9:30 a.m., Friday, Sept. 2, 2011, at St. Anselm Church, 12969 Chillicothe Road, Chester Township. (Please meet at the church.) Entombment will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the charity of your choice.
