Ross William Dovico

Ross William Dovico, age 82, of Middlefield, formerly of Chester Twp., passed away Dec. 14, 2014, at Chardon Healthcare Center. He was born Dec. 19, 1931, in Cleveland. Ross was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving during the Korean War. He had a passion for, and started a business making and selling stained glass. Ross also enjoyed hunting, and loved pulling pranks on his family and friends. He will be missed by all for his fun loving spirit. Ross was a Plasterer and also a Manager with Geauga County ODOT. He is survived by his son, Cono (Diane) Dovico; daughter, Eileen (Roger) Ashmore; grandchildren, Kelsey, Eric, and Brandon; sister, Jeannette (Mike) Seminatore; and former wife, Sarah N. Valore, whom Ross was married to for 27 years. He was preceded in death by his sister, Clara Apidone; and parents, Cono and Carmella Dovico. Visitation will be Thursday, Dec. 18, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home, 12524 Chillicothe Rd, Chester Twp. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, Dec. 19, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Twp.
