

Stephan J. Boczek, age 39, passed away Dec. 22, 2010, at his residence in Russell Township. Born Aug. 25, 1971, in Cleveland, he was a lifelong resident of Russell Township. Stephan was a National Merit finalist and graduate of Walsh Jesuit High School, where he was also active in athletics, music, and academics. He later attended the Honors Tutorial College at Ohio University. Stephan joined the family business, Automation Services & Controls Inc. in Chagrin Falls, and worked as an electrical engineer for 20 years, often traveling overseas. He was an avid reader and book collector and deeply enjoyed being a significant part of his nieces' and nephews' lives. Survivors include his parents, Paul J. and Macon W. Boczek; sisters, Natalie (Frank) Mormino, Cecilia (Taylor) Robinson, and Randi (Glen) Simon; nieces and nephews, Brittany and Nicolette Mormino, Emma, True, and Charlie Robinson, and Raine and Piper Simon. Visitation will be 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday and 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home, 12524 Chillicothe Road, Chester Township. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010, at Church of Saint Anselm, 12969 Chillicothe Road, Chester Township. The Father Thomas Sweany will officiate. Interment will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
