Thomas Joseph Buckman "Bucky", age 70, of Novelty, died peacefully at home in the loving arms of his wife on March 24, 2021 after a brief illness. He was born on August 22, 1950 at Grace Hospital in Cleveland to William and Katherine Buckman (both deceased). He retired in 1999 after thirty years at East Ohio Gas Company. He married his wife Pamela on October 13, 2007 and she survives him. He is also survived by his children Thomas W. Buckman and Nate Prahst (Evie), his grandchildren Haylie Buckman and Toby, Gianna, and Josephine Prahst, his brother-in-law Jim (Toni) Paul, sister in law Susan (Jim) Wilson, and niece Brittany Wilson, his beloved dog Kimora, and numerous friends. Bucky had a lifelong love of playing baseball and softball. He played softball throughout Northeast Ohio for over 40 years. He loved all things Cleveland sports. Bucky was an amazing story teller. He never met a stranger. Friends may call at Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home, 12524 Chillicothe Rd., Chesterland on Sunday March 28th, 2021 from 2-5pm.
