

Victor Joseph Gattozzi, age 73, of Mayfield Heights, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on August 23, 1952, and graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1970.
Victor enjoyed playing golf, watching sports, especially the Cleveland Browns, and listening to music. As a promoter he worked to gain airplay for Wild Cherry’s, "Play That Funky Music" song, for which they received a gold record. He was the owner of a custom packaging solutions company.
He was preceded in death by his parents and step-parents, Claire "Babe" (nee: Argie) and her husband, Del Glass, and Michael V. and wife, Diane Gattozzi. He is survived by his children, Robyn (John Coleman) Gattozzi, and Bryan (Emily) Gattozzi; grandchildren, Matthew, and Brandon Kontra, and Nina and Auden Gattozzi; siblings, Karla (Randall) Pinato, and Jef Gattozzi; niece, Kara Pinato; great nephew, Johnny Scro; Step-brother, Douglas (Darlene) Glass; and step-sister, Jayne (Kevin) Shaffer; and many cousins.
Friends may call on Saturday, March 7, 2026 from 10:00 AM until Noon, followed by a service at 12:00 PM. at Gattozzi & Son Funeral Home, 12524 Chillicothe Road, Chesterland, OH.
