Born September 29, 1944 in Cleveland, he and his loving wife of 53 years, Melinda, resided in Chagrin Falls for the past 51 years. Wayne founded Redding Resources, Inc., a Surgical Billing Firm in Chesterland, in 1984. He was always very proud of his staff and embraced them as family. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Chagrin Falls and Chardon. Wayne enjoyed skiing, sailing, and gambling, especially with his son Mark with whom he made many memorable trips to Las Vegas. He saw challenges as opportunities because it gave him a purpose in life to help others. Wayne lived his life to the fullest, always incorporating humor and fun. His greatest joy was his family and made it a priority to make memories with them on many family vacations and visits with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Melinda (nee Schick); daughter Kelly (Kreg) Tritsch; son Mark; grandchildren Elsa, Luke, Evelyn, and Carter. Wayne is preceded in death by his brothers Ronald and Dale; and parents Elmer and Louise (nee Krause) Redding. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 am, Monday December 20, 2021 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 496 E. Washington St., Chagrin Falls. A celebration of life reception will occur Monday, December 20, 2021 at 1:00PM at Generations (Guido’s) Event & Reception Center, 12809 Chillicothe Rd., Chesterland, Ohio 44026.
