William Martin O'Brien

William Martin O’Brien, age 81, passed away peacefully July 31, 2019 at Heather Hill Care Community in Munson Twp. Born September 9, 1937 in Cleveland, he lived in Euclid before moving to Chester Twp. 46 years ago. William proudly served in the National Guard, and enjoyed gardening and Civil War and WWII history. He worked as an assembler with Bailey-Meter in Wickliffe. He is survived by his wife Jean F. O’Brien (nee Brown); sons William B. O’Brien, Michael E. (Donna) O’Brien, and Patrick J. O’Brien; brother Terrence E. O’Brien; grandsons Aaron O’Brien and Jared O’Brien; and granddaughters Mollie O’Brien and Emma O’Brien. William is predeceased by his parents William B. and Laverne A. (nee Richter) O’Brien. Friends may call at Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home, 12524 Chillicothe Rd., Chester Twp. on Sunday 2-6 pm. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 am, Monday, August 5, 2019 at the Church of Saint Anselm, 12969 Chillicothe Rd., Chester Twp. Interment All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp.
