Bill was a Veteran of the US Air Force for four years prior to his career as an Electrician, and he was a Prop Master for one year traveling on a train working for Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus. He was passionate about going to the theater and working behind stage. He even designed, hand built and created full theater production scenes. In his free time, Bill spent 40 years volunteering his patience, passion, and knowledge to the Boy Scouts of America, holding many different roles including Scoutmaster and Chartered Organization Representative for a couple of troops. Known by hundreds of boys as “Mr. D,” Bill was a passionate supporter of Camp Owasippe and the adventure and experiences it offered. He was awarded the Silver Beaver, which is the Council's highest award for an adult leader and was a brotherhood member for the Order of the Arrow. When he wasn’t adventuring and teaching others about the Scouts, he enjoyed woodworking and building or fixing many things. You could often find him at his desk drawing up plans for his next project.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sheryl Wyatt-Rocks, and his loving children, Drew Dreasler, Doug Dreasler, Courtney L. (Eric Rabre) Wyatt, and Shannon D. Wyatt. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He was always a helper, and even in his death, he continued to save lives through donation.
