Christa Boden

Christa especially enjoyed gathering with friends and family. She loved traveling the world with her husband. Her hobbies included ballroom dancing, biking, and scrapbooking.

Christa is survived by her loving husband of 67 years Hans Boden, her adoring daughters Crystal (Don) Mason and Joan (Jim) Capodice, she was the beloved Oma to Eric Herrera, Brittney (Nick) Balduc and Scott Capodice, her beloved great grandchildren Natalia, Niklas, Logan, Lucas, Leighton and Lila, her loving brother Wilfried (Monika) Reinecke, and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings Wilhelm, Waldtraut and Frieda Reinecke.

Friends and family will gather for a visitation for Christa that will be held on Friday, October 27th, 2023 from 4 – 8 PM at Drake and Son Funeral Home, 5303 North Western Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60625. A funeral service will be held at 10 am on Saturday, October 28th, 2023 at the funeral home. A burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery, Chicago, Illinois.
