Daniel Joseph McNicholas

Daniel J. McNicholas passed away on December 2, 2023 at his home with his loving family by his side. Danny was born on February 22, 1956 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of William and Margaret (O’Connor) McNicholas.

He was preceded in death by his mother Margaret, his brothers James and Michael, and his beloved son, Matthew. He is survived by his two sons, Daniel (Lauren), Michael (Sadie); grandchildren Adeline, Jack, Cillian, Conor, Liam, Ema and Tommy; Father, William; sister, Ann (Bill); brother, Timothy (Jill) and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, dear friends, and his former wife Tami.

Danny was a graduate of St. Cajetan School and Mendel High School. He worked many years in the family business, South Holland Bowling Lanes and Restaurant. He worked at FedEx as a Driver. Dan brought joy, fun, and laughter to various occasions. Danny loved fishing, bowling, golfing and spending time with family. He will be greatly missed by all.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 6th 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Andrew J. McGann & Son Funeral Home, 10727 S. Pulaski Rd Chicago, Il 60655. Funeral Thursday, December 7th A Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m. at St. Cajetan Church, 2447 W. 112th St., Chicago, IL. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip, IL.
