Erik Thomas Carlson

Erik graduated from Hinsdale Central HS in 1994 and achieved his Bachelor's Degrees in both Advertising and Film Production.

He was a multi-talented, but very shy man whose career included; Comcast Producer/Editor, DJing at Chicago clubs, and Google Product Lead. His production team had a showing of their short comedy at the Music Box Theater in Chicago. He was a fan of all genres of film and video, especially artistic films and animation.His love of all things creative included an extensive collection of current and vintage videos, graphic novels and comic books.

He was a big man with an even bigger, warm heart that loved animals. He volunteered at an animal shelter, walked dogs, adopted 2 strays (aka 'sons', Link and Bear) and co-fostered rescued kittens with his sister Lisa.

Erik is survived by his mother Marta Carlson of Hinsdale, his sister Lisa Carlson of Chicago, and father Ken Carlson of Roselle.

His sudden passing leaves a big hole in all our hearts which will take a long time to heal.
