Life and Legacy
Estela was a devoted Wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who dedicated her life to her family. She is survived by her eldest son, Jose; her youngest son, Domingo, and their wives; as well as her beloved children, grandchildren, and extended family.
A natural leader in her home, Estela managed her household with wisdom and discipline, always setting an example of responsibility and integrity. She believed that leadership began within the family, and she lived that belief every day through her actions. Together with her husband, Domingo F. Cortes, she created a nurturing and loving environment where their children could grow, thrive, and learn the values of kindness and generosity.
Estela and her husband Domingo opened their home to others, often welcoming friends and relatives who needed a place to stay or a helping hand as they found their footing. She gave freely of her time, her resources, and her heart. Her love extended beyond her immediate family, and her generosity touched many lives.
Her greatest joy was her family. She cherished every gathering, every milestone, and every shared moment. She and her husband also shared a love of travel, spending countless hours driving across the country together. For them, the journey itself was just as meaningful as the destination, and they were always content simply being side by side.
