Raised in Cairo, Egypt, Ezzat earned his bachelors and masters degrees in Architecture and Architectural Engineering from Ain Shams University before emigrating to Saskatchewan, Canada.
Preceded in death by wife of 64 years, Huda Gabriel (nee Baki Anis) and parents Labib Gabriel and Naema Hanna.
Dearest father of Sherine (Frank Cockerill) Gabriel and Sherif (Stephanie) Gabriel; proud grandfather of Richard Gabriel Cockerill, Matthew Gabriel Cockerill, and Jason, Emily, Nicole, and Thomas Gabriel; step-grandfather of Astrid (Caleb New) and Gavin Blurr.
Visitation 10am (funeral begins 11am) Tuesday, November 1, at St. Paul Coptic Orthodox Church, 2500 N. Talman, Chicago, 60647.
