Flavio R Castillo

He was born in Chicago, IL, on August 7th, 1971, son of Victor and Ruth (Meneses) Castillo, husband to Griselda (Grace Salcedo), father to Maximo, Cortez, and Aribella, brother to Victor Jr., and Nelson, and beloved brother in law, and cousin to many.

Flavio, a proud Citizen of the United States served in the Marine Corps during Desert Shield and Desert Storm where he attained the rank of Sergeant.

He was a Partner at RSM US in the Financial Services Group. Flavio attended Gordon Technical High School then went on to attend DePaul University where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting with Honors.

Flavio's passion for cooking, family and friends will be only a few of the things that will be greatly missed.

Wake services will be Sunday March 13, 2016, at the Drake and Son Funeral Home located, at 5303 N Western Ave, Chicago, IL., from 4 PM to 9 PM.

Funeral Mass will be Monday March 14, 2016 at 10 AM at Queen of Angels church located at 2330 W Sunnyside, Chicago, IL.,

Flavio will be laid to rest at Rosehill Cemetery, located at 5800 N Ravenswood, Chicago, IL.

The funds are education trusts that have been set up for each child, Maximo,10; Cortez, 7; and Aribella, 4.

Checks need to be specifically designated for each child and for their education trust. Feel free to give to all 3 of just 1 or 2.

Please make checks payable to either " Griselda Castillo for the benefit of Maximo Castillo Education Trust", or "Griselda Castillo for the benefit of Cortez Castillo Education Trust", or "Griselda Castillo for the benefit of Aribella Education Trust"-they must be separate checks
