Guillermo Mario Parreño

Guillermo was born on May 30th, 1934, in Quito, Ecuador. A devoted husband for 64 years to Laura Parreño. A cherished father to Xavier (Monica), Mauricio, Amparo and Christina. His legacy of love and family values will continue to inspire those he leaves behind. Especially his grandchildren, Melissa, Julissa, Michael, Bianca, Felicia, Yesenia, Armani and Danny. A proud great grandfather to Isaiah, Alessandra, Tino, Alexi, Penelope, Amara, Leilani, Idris and Arianna. Guillermo’s kindness, wisdom and unwavering support touched the lives of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered. May he rest in eternal peace.

A Memorial Visitation will be at Malec & Sons Funeral Home, (Edward A. Tylka, Manager), 6000 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL 60646 on Friday, August 11, 2023 from 4:00 pm. to 8:00 pm with a Prayer Service beginning at 6:30 pm. Saturday, August 12, 2023 everyone is asked to assemble 9:45am for a Funeral Mass at 10:00am directly at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1010 West Webster Avenue, Chicago, IL 60614.
