Harold Raymond Gahan

Harold was preceded in death by his Father and Mother, Harold W. And Ruth G.(Berg) Gahan. Also by siblings Charles Thomas Groves, Earl Edward (Dorothy) Groves, Robert Groves, Wilma Ruth Groves (Jack) Reitz, and Winifred Grace Groves (Richard) Storc.

He is survived by his sister Florence Bernice Groves Smith. Harold has many nieces, nephews, and cousins he loves dearly. His best friends and also family Priscila Triffo, Kathy Veliz, and Miguel Quinto. Harold also has many beloved friends and co workers he adored.

Harold attended Kindergarten and 1st grade at St. Paul's Lutheran School, Round Lake Park, IL. Then Ellis Elementary third-eighth grade, Round Lake, Il, and Round Lake High School.

Harold was a wonderful human being inside and out. He was very kind, loving, funny, sweet, and genuine with a huge heart and smile to match. He will be dearly missed but never forgotten!

Harold will be cremated.

His memorial services will be on Monday 2/16/2026 at Drake & Son Funeral Home, 5303 N. Western, Chicago, IL 60625, from 4pm to 8pm. Prayer service at 7pm.
